New members are always welcome. Friends of Bedford Park (FoBP) was established in 2013. We are a non-funded, not-for-profit, volunteer community group. Our group meets on a monthly basis in Bedford Park, corner Love and Water Streets, Spring Hill, in the picnic shed. We are made up of local residents, community

Block Party event in Bedford Park on Friday, 11th December from 11:00am to 4:00pm. Community organisations--Wesley Mission Brisbane, Rapid Relief and Communify with the support of the Brisbane City Council are holding a community BBQ in Bedford Park. Come enjoy an afternoon of music, art and craft, face painting, sporting activities and amusements. BBQ and all activities are FREE! Everyone is welcome to come along, make new friends and join in the fun.

Bedford Park
Bedford Park, located on the corner of Love and Water Streets Spring Hill, and also known as Bedford Playground and Spring Hill Playground was established in 1927. It is State Heritage listed and was named in honour of (Mary) Josephine Bedford in 1959, an early Brisbane philanthropist. The park features the Communify
'Park Food Trucks @ Bedford Park'. Sunday's Park Food Trucks event in Bedford Park was a great success. Spring Hill locals, as well as people from all over Brisbane came along and enjoyed the delicious fair offered by ChipTease, King of the Wings, Kombi Koffein, Little Back, Pizzantica, The Bone Lorry and The Doughnut Bar. The event was organised byBrisbane resident Emma Cuell, the founder of Park Food Trucks. We are hoping it will become a regular event in Bedford Park.
