Our events, come along and join in the fun...
We have a number of community events planned to take place in the Park to increase its use as a community hub and 'village common' for local residents, businesses and other organisations. Come along, have some fun and find out what is going on, share your ideas and insights and make some new friends. We look forward to meeting you.
Event 1 - Neighbour Day in Bedford Park
Sunday, 29th March, 2015 - 10am to 11:30am (FREE EVENT)
​An annual celebration of community hosted nationally by Relationships Australia. Relationships Australia's Brisbane headquarters is located just around the corner from Bedford Park. They are one of our neighbouring community organisations. FoBP will host the event for the Spring Hill community. A day of family fun where all of our neighbours are welcome to come and meet, get to know one another, share a plate of food, listen to local entertainment and enjoy some good conversation.
Event 2 - 'Not for Glory',

Sunday, 31st May, 2015, 1:15pm to 1:45pm (FREE ENTRY). Bring a friend, enjoy a cup of tea and listen to Dr Neuhause, co-author of 'Not for Glory' wqhich includes the stories of (Mary) Josephine Bedford, Bedford Park's namesake and her life partner Dr Lilian Cooper.
Event 3 - Park Food Trucks @ Bedford Park
Sunday, 14th June, 2015, 12:00pm to 05:00pm (FREE ENTRY). Come down, bring the family, a picnic blanket and a big appetite and experience Brisbane's newest dining experience. See you there!
Event 4 - Re-launch of the Men's Shed @ Bedford Park
Sunday, 30th August, 2015, 11:00am to 01:00pm (FREE SAUSAGE SIZZLE)
Shoulder to Shoulder, the Shed movement is bringing people together to create sheds all over the country! Here's your chance to get involved in our shed at ground level. We'd like you to get involved and have your say.
Join Friends of Bedford Park and New Farm Rotary Club for a conversation about reestablishing the Spring Hill Shed in Bedford Park. ALL WELCOME!
Event 5 - Emergency Relief Block Party @ Bedford Park
2015 - Firday, 11th December, 11:00am to 04:00pm (FREE EVENT)
This free event will bring together the local community services, businesses, clients and residents in a community focused event. It will be an afternoon of music, art and craft, face painting, sporting activities and amusements. A free BBQ will also be provided. This even is brought to you by Wesley Mission Brisbane, Rapid Relief, Communify and the Brisbane City Council. All activities are free of charge. ALL WELCOME!
